Bigger is better in Korea! When it comes to bragging rights this woman’s mortar and pestle might make it into the Guinness Book of Records.

 

This was one of the many roadside stalls on the trail to the Mal Mt. Stone Pagoda in Maisan Provincial Park in the district of Jeollabuk-do. The substance was very gooey like chewing gum, but seemed to be some sort of pancake mixture that was then deep-fried?

 

I gave the concoction a miss but bought a beer from her instead which made her laugh!
